Online Tools to Jumpstart Productivity in 2024

Hi Reader!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful start to 2024! It’s been a while since I’ve sent out my monthly newsletter. If you’re new, a quick introduction:

At the end of the month I send out a newsletter that includes marketing and tech tips that help you run your practice or clinic. I cover things like SEO, branding, productivity and more. If there’s a topic you’d like to learn more about, reply to this email and I’ll work to include it in a future newsletter!

Today is my birthday! 🎉

I didn’t plan on sending out this newsletter on my birthday when I said I’d send my newsletters out on the “last Thursday of each month” but here we are! Serendipity or coincidence? I’m not sure, but I do know that the time between Christmas and my birthday has always been Purging Season. I think the act of packing away decorations from every corner of my home jump starts my motivation to tackle the piles of clothes and toys that I’ve been putting off sorting through.

The same can be said for my business. Over the course of the year, I’ve accumulated a ton of unnecessary tools that ate up my limited work hours. I started the year off by simplifying my daily workflow in order to be more productive. It’s my first act of self-care for the year.

Here are 3 tools I use to simplify my time online:

  • For Limiting Social Media Distractions
Social media is my main vice. It’s so bad that sometimes I’ll end up on Facebook without even remembering that I typed “facebook.com” into the browser. Newsfeed Eradicator is a Chrome plugin that has saved me so many wasted hours during my work day. It replaces your newsfeed with a motivational quote on several major social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Youtube and more. Seriously a game changer!
  • For Saving Time with Social Media Posts
With how many social media accounts there are now, I needed a way to post on multiple platforms for my business without the time sink. Metricool has been amazing. With Metricool, I can use the free membership to post my content across multiple platforms with unique captions at the most popular time of day. And if I want to switch to the paid subscription, the rates are pretty competitive.
  • For Writing Summaries
Writing captions for social media posts and meta descriptions for SEO takes up too much of my time. That’s why I used Chat GPT a lot last year. It’s not a perfect solution because the summaries it provides are only as good as the prompts you give it, but it’s a great starting point! If you want some ideas for prompts, grab a free copy of my Prompt Library! It has prompts for brand voice, social media posts, SEO, and more.

If you want to start the year off with a clear Roadmap for your online marketing and get more in depth on what’s holding your business back in its effectiveness to reach your target market, my C3 Website Review & Roadmap can help you streamline your business practice. We’ll review your first impressions online, content, and compliance with SEO, accessibility, and more.

Once we review everything together, I’ll provide you with a C3 Roadmap that walks you through how to make the changes we talked about and give you tool suggestions as needed. My Roadmap saves you time and frustration, so you can focus on what’s important: your clients.

I only have two spots left at my introductory price of $175!

Hi Reader, I’ve been waiting for the right moment to bring up a boring topic with my clients… website policies. WAIT, DON’T GO! 😜 This Black Friday, I am focusing on helping customers get up to speed with compliance related to their website, and I’m recommending a solution I use on my own website, Termageddon. Let’s start with the basics… Your website is collecting (and sharing) personal information Generating leads is essential for just about every website owner. Websites with contact forms...

Happy Halloween Reader! Last week, I was on a mission to earn cool mom points by finding the perfect video game truck for my son’s birthday party. After sifting through search results, I was left frustrated with no available options for the date I needed. I finally hit the jackpot after I reached out to a friend who recommended a local business I hadn’t even found in my Google search. This experience got me thinking about the power of being easily discoverable online – and how important it is...

Hi Reader, It’s been a rough few weeks over here. I unfortunately had an impromptu anatomy lesson during my work out when I heard a “pop” and immediately felt pain on my left side. Apparently, the bottom few ribs are called “floating ribs” and you can pop them out of place, causing an injury like a sprain in your ribs. Standing at a whopping 5 feet tall, I already had issues reaching things on the top shelf. But after this injury, reaching up to grab food in our pantry ain’t happening. Our...
